Teamfight Tactics



Teamfight Tactics is an auto battler game developed and published by Riot Games. It runs out of the League of Legends client on PC and also has a mobile app for iOS and Android.

I worked on menu and feature design, early game experience, missions, battle pass, and gameplay. Some specific shipped content was:

  • Updated mobile settings menu
  • Team Planner for PC
  • Battlepass and Missions for Seasons 8, 8.5, 9, and 9.5
  • The game mode Set 3.5 Revival: Galaxies.

Some tasks I did were:

  • Wrote game design documents including UX, feature scoping, and technical requirements
  • Designed and implemented combat mechanics, items, and other systems in game.
  • Wrote LUA code and worked in the League of Legends proprietary engine.
  • Coordinated both internal and external teams
  • Lead the project for Set 3.5 Revival: Galaxies, leading design, UX, art, production, engineering, QA, and client coordination for the event game mode. This was a 7 month project leading 9+ devs, which produced an extremely successful event; so successful they extended its duration by 50%.
